Drawing on the region’s creativity and ingenuity and bringing together the public and private sector in order to deliver novel solutions, radical improvements and new business opportunities, the fund focusses on the most urgent priorities facing the region.

This challenge led by Cardiff and Vale University Health Board began as a rapid response to COVID-19 pandemic conditions. Its aim was to develop immersive simulation training solutions for NHS clinicians, benefiting from advances in virtual reality and associated technologies.
