Cardiff University are collaborating with Cardiff Capital Region to run a series of 2-hour face-to-face workshops on best practices in challenge-led innovation to raise awareness of the how much public service/charities/third sector can benefit from this approach.
These workshops will consist of round-table discussions and masterclasses, with contributions from both local and nationwide experts and from people on the front line who’ve brought innovation to their public service. It’s a fully funded opportunity to immerse yourself in lots of ideas and approaches about how to make things better.
Our second workshop will take place at the Executive Education Suite, Cardiff Business School between 9.30am and 11.30am on Tuesday June 28th, when we will be joined by Gareth Browning, Challenge Fund Manager at CCR, and Professor James Lewis, Director of Y Lab, to look at one of the most integral aspects of challenges – the design and scoping of your challenge.
The workshop will provide you with tools and techniques on how to effectively frame your problem, and will explore the principles and processes required to plan a challenge effectively to have the greatest chance of success.
